Reasoning

The past few days have been emotionally draining and exhausting. We've done a lot of sitting around and waiting when
I've felt perfectly fine. Today, for example, I've been pretty much stuck in my hospital bed waiting for the oxytocin to work. I have contractions, but not consistently and not strong. I walk the halls with Mark and the IV pole containing the oxytocin. Then,
i get strapped back to the fetal monitor. This is all fine - especially since I know that we are getting closer and closer to having the baby.

I'm not talking to people on the phone simply because SO many people have been calling. Really, we appreciate the thoughts and well-wishes, but I just can't provide and blow-by-blow account for everyone 20 times a day at this point. It stresses me to hear your frustration with the situation. Believe me, we have enough stress without taking on yours, as well. I'm under the care of some excellent doctors and midwives who are all giving me good advice and chances to work things out in my mind before we proceed.

So, please don't think that YOU are the only person whose calls I'm not taking. Honestly, I'm not taking ANYONE'S calls. When there's soemthing to tell, I have a list. You'll be called. In the mean time, check the blog and trust that we're in good hands.
