We saw the OB and he is sending me for an ultrasound in about 15 min to determine how big the baby is. That, apparently, will determine our course of action. He concurred that the baby needs to come in the next 48 hours due to my high blood pressure, but he didn't seem to have a set opinion on how the baby will come (c-section or regular - we're hoping for regular, obviously).
The baby is totally fine. Scored high on the fetal monitor tests last night and this morning to the degree that I haven't had to be hooked up to it all day. He/she continues to dance. I've been having pretty intense Braxton-Hicks contractions that we hope has moved the baby down. We'll have to wait and see when the midwives come back later on.
We're off to the ultrasound. We'll update after.
