After much deliberation, we decided that Akiva's hair was driving us all nuts (him included!). I cut his bangs yesterday and have left the rest alone for now. It's pretty uneven, but it'll grow out and I'll do better next time!!

YIPEE for the haircut. Kelmo, better not quit your day job to become a hair stylist.
That is so funny! I JUST cut Max's hair for the first time - at age 4 - and all I did was take the long straggly bits in front. In all, it amounted to one lock of hair! But he has bangs now! He got upset about it after the fact so I taped it back on like a wee ponytail until he adjusted (about 4 hours later :))
