Bris

Our son's bris was this morning. It was small and relatively uneventful (though likely not from the baby's perpective). His name is Benyamin Alexander Yerucham Milotay.

All of these names sort of "came to us" over the past few days. It happens that Benyamin (the hebrew of Benjamin) is the name of my great-great uncle. Alexander was my great-great grandfather. I dreamt about the name Yerucham (pronounce the 'ch' as 'h') two nights in a row for no particular reason - it means "God is merciful"- so we decided to use it, too.

I think we'll call him Benyamin or Benji, but not sure yet. We'll see how his personality develops.
