Two weeks ago tomorrow Akiva started walking in earnest. His skills have grown rapidly - he can now step over objects and change directions. Running is next on the agenda, I fear.
His vocabulary is increasing, too. He likes to repeat after us, but can request some things (nursing) by name. Natasha is "Ta-ta" and Ceilidh is "lay-lee". In the car he often babbles to himself while we're driving down the road. He still loves music and will dance to anything with a good beat (even a rattle shaken in a rhythm).
