* He now eats some solid food. He hates grains (oatmeal, rice cereal, etc.) but loves meat, fruits, and vegetables. Today he even ate a little buffalo steak.
* He scooted himself forward on his belly about 1 foot last night in pursuit of a toy. Hasn't repeated the feat, yet. Given his intense curiosity, I'm a little scared of him being on the go...
Today we took Natasha with us on our walk. She behaved herself very nicely even though two other dogs tried to pull dominance stuff with her. Akiva slept through the second half of the walk. His sleep seems to be going through a shake up. We put him to bed at 8ish and he wakes up a half hour later and is up until 10:30. Ugh. At least
he sleeps in the next morning until 9, though.
We've been crazy busy here. The painter finally finished. Then, we had the floors refinished. Finally, we have stonemasons building two patios in the back yard - one for eating/sitting around a fire and one for playing (riding tricycles, etc.). Our backyard already looks much better. Our garden is starting to yield produce. We ate the first strawberries last week. We have constant greens of all sorts. Our corn is HUGE (way beyond knee high).
Here are some pics:
