The other day, I was holding Kiva while watching Ellen or some other show. I looked down to see him staring at the tube. I know he was probably just looking at the lights and images, but it scared both of us. Mark and I have been talking for months about getting rid of our TV and now we're finally doing it! We get the newspaper and I'm an avid radio-listener when I'm in the kitchen (a habit I picked up form my good friend Julie), so I won't be news-starved. Hopefully this will encourage all of us to pursue more worthy goals in the evening (like the long walk we all took last night).

B-b-b-but how on earth are you going to keep up with the latest gossip on Lost? Or the playoff run of the Vancouver Canucks? Or the latest tribulations of the remants of the human race on Battlestar Galactica?
You told us your hubby was a geek like the lot of us. How is he supposed to maintain his geek status if he can't even watch Battlestar Galactica?
I think Law & Order is on somewhere. I must go watch it.

Ley's see how you feel in May when your little one is staring at the screen when someone gets eviscerated on Battlestar Galactica... ;)
Canucks? What are they? ;)
as long as you're not subjecting our little man to NPR...
Yes, but he only likes the Jazz NPR station - he doesn't like any talk radio.
