In the midst of our renovating, we've acquired quite a bit of trash in the past week. Some of it can be recycled and is awaiting pickup on Wednesday. The rest is just trash. The problem? In Victoria, the trash dudes will only take one can-full of trash per week. You can buy extra stickers for bags above and beyond your one-can allotment, but we forgot to take care of this on Friday and our trash pick up changed this week to Monday at 7:30 a.m...
SO, I put out our bin plus two of the extra bags, leaving the remaining trash bags under the eaves to stay dry (one perk of trash pick up in Victoria is that they actually will come to your bin rather than you having to drag the bin out to the street). Not only did the trash dudes take all the trash I left out for them, but they also took all the bags that were left under the eaves!!
It doesn't take much to make a pregnant lady happy.
